In late November, UPF’s deputy director Dennis Lloyd and marketing manager Romi Gutierrez traveled down to Miami to staff our booth at the annual Miami Book Fair International, bringing along more than a ton of books! Through non-stop rain on Friday, ferocious wind on Saturday, and formidable heat and humidity on Sunday, they braved the elements to chat with fairgoers and to share a wide selection of new and classic UPF titles. The fair was a huge success. Bestsellers included two new books by local Miami authors: Mango by Jen Karetnick and The Versailles Restaurant Cookbook by Ana Quincoces and Nicole Valls.
Several UPF authors presented their books at the fair, and many stopped by to visit our booth. Check out some photos from the book fair weekend!
