We are pleased to present our new titles scheduled to be published between September 2025 and February 2026.
The catalog cover image is from Miami’s Art Boom, available in October, which captures the evolution of Miami’s art scene before and after the inaugural Art Basel Miami Beach. Also of special note is Other People’s Mothers, available in September, a work of creative nonfiction that launches the Press’s expansion into the genre.
We are looking forward to publishing a new edition of 14th NASA administrator and US Senator Bill Nelson’s account of his Space Shuttle Columbia mission, a history of Florida’s involvement in World War II, and a comprehensive resource on ecologically informed shoreline management in Florida.
Our history and archaeology offerings this season include a look at the term “un-American” and what it has meant to whom throughout US history, new interpretations of the Revolutionary War era, and case studies focusing on ethical archaeological practices in the Caribbean.
In literature and the arts, we will publish a collection highlighting cultural representations of plants and animals across Latin American history, an introductory overview of the medieval poetry genre of Middle English lyrics, and an edition of two little-known story collections from the modernist writer H.D.
